From broadcast lighting direction to theatre lighting design
I have worked with and installed many different LED video systems and I have had the opportunity to work directly with manufacturers to fabricate custom screens at their facilities in China.
Working with projection and projection mapping is an exciting skill that I continue to build. I am always looking to expand my knowledge into new media servers and grow my skills with Resolume Arena, Avolites AI, Madrix and Pandora's Box.
What I lack in foreign languages I make up for in console syntax. I am well versed on many platforms including; Hog, Eos, Magic Q, and GrandMA.
Every project has challenges, but I love problem solving. My experiences almost all facets of entertainment production allow me to see each task from multiple angles. This permits me to creatively and effectively find solutions.
Although it is fun to dream up an idea, I love to get my hands dirty and make a project reality. Being the boots on the ground for a project installation...tbc
Lead corporate studio production projects to revitalize storytelling tools for over 100 media production facilities. Lead initiatives to find efficiencies by self managing projects, rather than outsourcing to vendors. Train local personnel to use new broadcast technologies and empower them with new tools.

Oct 2015 to Aug 2016Lent technical expertise to implement LED light and LED video technologies in broadcast environments leading to new options for designers and provide clients with new tools for storytelling.
Apr 2012 to Sept 2014Led all show and event lighting installations. Provided design, programming, projection, rigging, and r+d services for entertainment projects.
